This course, OASIS-E 101, is the second module from the Advanced Competency in OASIS-E Certificate program and consists of two parts, for a total of 3 hours. This module provides a deep dive into the conventions of OASIS data collection while delving into the Conditions of Participation’s goal of creating patient centered, data-driven, outcome-oriented care. Risk adjustment methodology and its impact within the OASIS assessment will be discussed while a comprehensive analysis of the assessment logic within the integumentary and GG sections will prepare the Physical Therapist for consistent OASIS accuracy. A case study scenario will challenge the Physical Therapist to integrate fall risk and OASIS analysis within a tailored care plan.

Assessment:  Upon successful completion of the 8 question post course quiz, the Physical Therapist will be granted a continuing education certificate for completing this module. You will have 2 attempts to achieve a passing score of 70% on the quiz.
